What is the difference between Quuppa Native Firmware and Quuppa Emulation?

Quuppa has developed a Native Firmware (library) that supports Quuppa n Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832, nRF52833 and nRF52840 radio chips (as of writing 3/2021). This library natively supports the Quuppa system, such as location-based commands, and other Quuppa applications, such as Site Planner. Quuppa Emulation is a specification that allows the Bluetooth® device vendor to broadcast Quuppa Direction Finding packets that make devices visible (trackable) to the Quuppa System. Quuppa Emulation devices are not Quuppa Approved or Certified, and Quuppa does not guarantee the positioning quality of Emulation tags. The quality and features of Emulation tags vary widely; they may be small stylises with not much logic or large medical diagnostic devices.
