Clear Focusing Measurement Data

The focusing process is used to measure the orientation of the Locators. This step is crucial for the system to work properly and be able to provide accurate positioning results as the Locators calculate the position of the tracked objects based on their own position.

As the focusing measurements are critical for the system performance, it is important that they are as accurate as possible. If the QSP instructs you to retake the focusing measurements, you should do so. Follow the steps below to clear any measurements that you have already taken before focusing the Locators again.

  1. Select the Locator in the QSP.
  2. In the panel on the right, go to the Deployment tab.
  3. Click on the Clear measurement data button.
  4. Focus the Locator again. For instruction on how to focus the Locators, please see the Focus Locators Using Identification Wizard section.
